“Wow! A Dalmatian!!”

Yes, we know! A DALMATIAN!! The majestical, mysterious, and ever so beautiful black and white spotted dogs that we all know and love … but where are they all?? The amount of countless times that we have heard “I’ve never seen a Dalmatian before!” even started making us feel that this breed was even more elusive than we thought.

The idea sparked for the group “Dalmatians of Long Beach” when I was out walking my Dalmatian around the neighborhood and ran into, you guessed it— ANOTHER DALMATIAN! And I bet you can guess what I then said next.. Yep… “A Dalmatian!! You hardly ever see Dalmatians!” The excitement and glee that came across my face was the same as if it were my first time seeing one.

So we did what anyone would do when they find their dawgs, and decided to meet up with our spotted doggies so they could play together and thus is what started our monthly Dalmatian meet ups. We started hosting our monthly Dalmatian meet ups in December 2021 in hopes to get more and more Dalmatians together, because we’d figured—if we hardly see them, chances are, our Dalmatians probably haven’t seen much of their breed either. Our meet up’s provide a place for Dalmatians to get together to meet and play wIth other spotted furiends and their owners to meet and connect with other Dalmatian owners too!

Our goal for our Dalmatian meet up’s is to get 101 Dalmatians (or more!) all together in one place. We hope to grow this spotted community and create more events and more meet ups around the world! Hence the name: Spotted World! While this group originated in Long Beach, California, as the “Dalmatians of Long Beach”, we truly believe it can be so much bigger!
