“Wow! A Dalmatian!!”

Yes, we know… A DALMATIAN!! The majestic, mysterious, and oh-so-beautiful black-and-white spotted dogs we all know and love. But where are they all?! We’ve heard “I’ve never seen a Dalmatian before!” so many times that we started wondering if they really were as elusive as they seemed.

The idea for Dalmatians of Long Beach started when I was walking my Dalmatian around the neighborhood and ran into—YOU GUESSED IT—another Dalmatian! And, of course, I immediately exclaimed, “A Dalmatian!! You hardly ever see Dalmatians!” The excitement was the same as if I were seeing one for the very first time.

We figured that if we hardly ever see other Dalmatians, our spotted pups probably don’t either. So we brought them together to play—and our monthly Dalmatian meetups were born!

Since December 2021, our meetups have given Dalmatians a chance to meet, play, and make new spotted friends, while their humans connect with fellow Dalmatian lovers too.

Our ultimate goal? 101 Dalmatians (or more!) all in one place. We hope to grow this spotted community and create meetups and events around the world. That’s where Spotted World comes in!

What started in Long Beach, California, as “Dalmatians of Long Beach” has grown into something we believe can be so much bigger and we’ve got lots of fun stuff on the horizon.
