Belmont Shore Christmas Parade!

We absolutely love getting festive with all of our spotted FURiends at the annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade! This was our 4th year of attending and we even brought in a new addition this year- a spotted van with a blow up Dalmatian on top! And we’re already making notes to make next years parade even better!

Every year the city announces a new theme for that years parade and this years Parade theme was “Jingle Jammies” and we joined the city in trying to break a Guinness World Record for the most amount of people in pajamas in one place. and guess what, WE DID IT!!!

There were 4.040 pajama-clad parade participants

11,691 spectators in pajamas lining 2nd street.

The marching band wore pajamas, the bike groups wore pajamas, the dancers, the cheerleaders, the city mayor and even the doggies wore pajamas! 15,736 total were counted in pajamas, (and thats not counting the people inside restaurants, shops, or gathered at holiday parties around the neighborhood) it was such a sight to see and we’re so happy we got to be apart of it!

This is one of our favorite events of the year (besides the meet ups, of course!) and we already can’t wait for next years parade happening Saturday December 5th — so mark your calendars now! This is a family friendly, dog friendly holiday event that you will not want to miss out on.
